Long-billed Dowitcher
英文名：Long-billed Dowitcher，学名：Limnodromus scolopaceus，是鸻形目丘鹬科半蹼鹬属的鸟类。大型鹬类。喙长，繁殖成鸟下体呈粉橙色，两侧有较细的黑白斑纹，羽毛显较深的赤色纹路和较窄的白色尖端。分布于北极圈低地至亚北极湿草甸，从东北亚到西北美洲，包括俄罗斯远东地区至楚科奇半岛，加拿大北部至努纳武特地区。迁徙和越冬时可见于北美洲温带至亚热带地区，从美国南部、墨西哥至中美洲西北部。
Long-billed Dowitcher
29 cm. Very similar to Short-billed Dowitcher, but stands taller and has a longer bill. Best identified by short sharp call compared to softer three-note whistle of Short-billed. In non-breeding plumage grey-brown above with white triangle on lower back in flight, rump and tail finely barred white. Below breast pale grey-brown contrasting with whiter belly, flanks with pale barring. Head with whitish supercilium and dark loral stripe, legs greenish. Breeds in Arctic tundra of ne Siberia and Alaska, migrating to southern USA, Mexico, to El Salvador.
