英文名：Eurasian Chaffinch（学名：Fringilla coelebs），是雀形目燕雀科燕雀属的鸟类。分布广泛，从欧洲西部至伊朗和土库曼斯坦，是中国北部地区常见的鸟类。雄鸟色彩鲜明，头顶淡蓝色，背部赭褐色，腰部微绿，面部和胸部呈粉红色；雌鸟则为绿褐色。叫声独特，除繁殖期间成对活动外，其他季节多成群，迁徙时尤为明显。

14 - 16 cm. Sparrow-like but slimmer, longer-tailed, distinguished by two obvious wing-bars and obvious white sides to tail. breeding male: black forehead, blue-grey crown and nape, cinnamon face and underparts, brown black, white wing bars. Non-breeding male: more subdued colours with buffish wing bars. Female: brown forehead, crown, nape and back, buffish underparts, buffish-white wing-bars.
