Sahul Sunbird
英文名：Sahul Sunbird（学名：Cinnyris frenatus），是雀形目太阳鸟科的鸟类。11-12厘米。雄鸟：注意其弯曲的长喙；喉部/上胸具光泽的蓝黑色；微弱的黄色眉纹与颊纹；上体橄榄绿色；下体黄色；尾黑色具偏白色的尾角。雌鸟：眉纹、整个喉胸部呈柠檬黄色。亚成鸟：似雌鸟；年轻雄鸟自中央长出深色“围兜”。单只、成对、临时小群：自信大胆；在花丛间穿梭，悬停取食；捕食蜘蛛，在蛛网前悬停将其肢解。直线飞行迅速敏捷；常与体型较小的吸蜜鸟混群。小群聚集进行生动的炫耀，发出清脆啼鸣。温驯；在房屋/热带花园周围营巢。

11-12 cm. Male: note long curved bill; throat/upperbreast burnished blue-black; slight yellow eyebrow and whisker-streak; upperparts olive-green; underparts yellow; tail black with whitish corners. Female: eyebrow, whole throat/breast lemon-yellow. Immature: like female; young males develop dark 'bib' from centre. Singles, pairs, temporary groups: assertive; flits about blossoms, hovers to feed; takes spiders, dismembering them while hovering at web. Direct flight swift, darting; mixes with smaller honeyeaters. Groups gather in animated display, uttering brisk calls. Tame; nests about houses/tropical gardens.

- beautiful, pendulous, 30-60 cm long; with hooded side entrance; of bark, grass, leaves, spiders' web, incl. web-debris; lined with plant down, feathers; suspended from sapling, vine, low branch, sometimes over water; houses, sheds, verandahs, etc.

- 1-2 (3); grey-green, mottled brownish, in zone at large end. Parasitised by Gould's Bronze-Cuckoo.

- coastal n. Q and many coastal islands: from C. York s. to near Normanton on w. coast and to c. Bundaberg on e. coast. Vagrant further s. as far as Maitland (ne. NSW). Common. Sedentary. Also Solomon Is., PNG, to parts of Indonesia, se. Asia, se. China.
