英文名：Little Kingfisher（学名：Ceyx pusillus），是佛法僧目翠鸟科的鸟类。11.5–13 厘米。体型极小；上体具光泽的深蓝色（北领地的个体较浅），下体白色；眼前及颈侧具白斑；脚黑色。未成年鸟：色较浅，具鳞状斑。低处停栖，扎水，返回栖处；有时悬停。飞行迅疾、直线，贴水面低飞。
Little Kingfisher
11.5-13 cm. Tiny; glossy dark blue above (paler in NT), white below; white spot before eyes and on sides of neck; feet black. Immature: paler, scalloped. Perches low, plunges, returns to perch; sometimes hovers. Flight darting, direct, low over water.
